Tamara Joy Patterson was born in Lubbock TX to Talmadge and Dorothy Turner on May 19, 1947. She graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock. She married Ronnie Patterson Sr. on February 5, 1965 in Lubbock TX. She was a retired nurse who was involved in church, and quartet. She was a loving grandmother who was actively involved in each family members life. 

Tamara Joy Patterson was preceded in death by Ronnie Lynn Patterson Sr. and Levi Mireles.

Tamara is survived by Melina Joy Mason, spouse Donnie Mason, Ronnie Lynn Patterson Jr, spouse Kasie Patterson, Aimee Ruth Lawrence, spouse Joe Lawrence, sister Cheryl Ann Simmons and son Michael Harris, grandchildren Justin Mason, Jarred Mason, Jacob Hughes, Jorden Mason, Whitney Patterson, Joshua Hughes, Lauren Crowder, Fernando Mireles, and multiple great-grandchildren.
