The 19th Annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit will be held this year from February 5-17, 2017. The Brownwood Art Association will once again sponsor the Salon Des Refusé. Volunteers are needed so the the Art Center can be open for public viewing.
Below are the dates and times that we need volunteers, preferably for 2 hours at a time:
Monday – Friday / February 6-10 / 9:00 – 6:00
Saturday, February 11 / 10:00 – 4:00
Sunday, February 12 / 1:00 – 4:00
Monday – Friday / February 13-17 / 9:00 – 6:00
In addition, we will need volunteers to be available on Friday, February 17 from 5:00 – 6:00 for artists to pick up their work.
On Saturday, January 28, from 4:00 – 6:00, we would like to have a minimum of 4 volunteers to receive art for the Salon Des Refusé. This is important as we expect a lot of people to be bring their art that was not accepted for the juried show at the Depot. We also will need volunteers to hang the artwork.
The Stars of Texas is a popular community event and allows the public to become acquainted with the Brownwood Art Association. Sign up forms for times and dates will be at the Art Center, of you may call or text Gayle Ritchey:
