Trinidad Galindo Garcia

Trinidad Galindo Garcia, age 86, of Brady, Texas passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas. Trinidad was born March 30, 1932 in the Whiteland community of McCulloch County, Texas to Eulalio Galindo and Luz (Rodriguez) Galindo. She married Tim Garcia on December 17, 1949 in Casa Grande, AR. She was a member of the housekeeping staff at the Plateau Motel for 24 years. She also was a member of the cafeteria staff at the Brady Independent School District for several years. She was a homemaker and a lifelong Brady resident. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady where she was active in the Guadalupanas. She enjoyed helping others and would always put their needs before hers.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Trinidad Galindo Garcia will be at 10:00am Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady with Reverend Bhaskar Mendem officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Brady. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with the Chapel of Mercy being recited at 5:00pm. Friends may view Trinidad’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign the online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com. Pallbearers will be Danny Galindo, David Galindo, Frank Galindo, Rosalio Galindo Jr., Tim Tucker and Cody Bradley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Bermel and Jeff Tucker.

Trinidad Garcia is survived by her daughters Jane Bermel and husband Don of Pleasant Hill, MO, Mary Nunez and husband Johnny of Helotes, TX, Latha Tucker and husband Jeff of Lubbock, TX and Trini Bradley and husband Larry of Angel Fire, NM; grandchildren Caitlan Smith, Nieca Hickland, Traci Nunez, Tim Tucker, Margie Tucker and Cody Bradley and great-grandchildren Chloe Hickland and Clive Smith. Trinidad was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 66 years, Tim Garcia, sister Dorothy Garcia and brothers Basilio, Juan, Gabriel, Cipriano, Benito, Rosalio, Jose, Eulalio and Fred. Memorial contributions in memory of Trinidad Galindo Garcia of may be made to Hospice of Lubbock, Inc., 3702 21st Street, Lubbock, Texas 79410.
