Reports of theft, DWI, tampering with evidence and much more are included in the Monday, June 10, Brownwood Police Report.

On 6/4/2019, at 1000 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Blk. of Oak Park Dr. in reference to a burglary. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On June 6th, 2019, at approximately 2330 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 3rd Street. After a short investigation, a suspect was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >= 1 G < 4G in a Drug Free Zone, Felony 2, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence.

On June 7th, 2019, at approximately 0229 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to an individual trespassing in the 2100 block of 16th Street. After a short investigation, one suspect was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Criminal Trespass.

On 6/7/2019, at 0600 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1900 Blk. of Vincent St. in reference to an accident. Upon further investigation, a vehicle was stolen from the 1900 Blk. of Calvert Rd. and crashed in the 1900 Blk. of Vincent. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On June 7, 2019, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to 1700 1st Street in reference to a physical domestic disturbance, not in progress. There were no reported injuries and a suspect has been named.

On Friday June 7, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of 8th street for a report of a stolen motorcycle.  Information was gathered and a report was generated.

On 6/7/19, at approximately 1106 hrs, an Officer was dispatched to the 2200 block of Southside Dr. in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. A report was generated at the request of the reporting party.

On Saturday, June 8, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Commerce for a report of theft. The suspect had left the scene prior to officer’s arrival, information was gathered and a report was generated.

On Saturday, June 8, 2019 at approximately 2114 hours, an Officer observed a driver in a vehicle commit a traffic violation at 14th St and Coggin Ave. A traffic stop was conducted for the violation, which lead to a DWI investigation. After the investigation was conducted, it was found that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated and later placed under arrest for DWI Open Container. A report has been made.

On Sunday June 9, 2019 at approximately 0654 hours, an officer arrived at 3900 block of South HWY US 377, an RV Park. The officer was dispatched to the area in reference to an argument. After that call was investigated, a later related call resulted in a burglary of a building. An active case has been generated.

On June 9, 2019, at 1603 hours, a Brownwood Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of East Commerce in reference to a citizen’s dispute. This call led to the arrest of a male subject for Assault w/ Injury – Family Violence.

On Sunday June 9, 2019, officers were dispatched to the corner of Calvert and Longhorn Lane in regards of a hit and run against property. Information was gathered on scene and a report was generated.

On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Officers responded to 1500 Blk Terrace Drive in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. After speaking with the owner of the vehicle, a report was generated.
