Man Sleeping in Vehicle Arrested When Homemade Meth Pipe Falls Out of Vehicle

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department call sheet is below, released Wednesday, June 26.

  • On Monday, June 24, 2019, at approximately 11:53 am, a Deputy met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center.  This was in reference to the theft of property by his former girlfriend and her mother.  A report will follow.
  • On Tuesday, June 18, at approximately 20:53, a Deputy met with a complainant on Blarney in Brownwood in reference to her debit card being stolen from her vehicle.  A report will follow.
  • On Monday, June 24, 2019, at 09:56 hours, a Deputy and Investigator, conducted a follow up investigation in the 3900 block of FM 586 West.  This was in regards to burglary of habitation.  Several trailers at the camp-site had been burglarized.  A report was made.
  • On June 26, 2019, a Deputy was dispatched to the 7900 block of County Road 190.  This was in regards to a subject asleep in his vehicle.  A man was located asleep in the driver’s seat with the engine turned off.  When the man exited the vehicle a homemade pipe, used for smoking methamphetamine, fell out of the vehicle.  The man was taken into custody and taken to Brown County Jail.
