The following calls were included on the Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report on Monday, July 1, 2019.

On 06-27-19, at 1540 hrs. an Officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Elizabeth for two dogs at large, blocking a mail carrier form doing her deliveries. One citation was issued.

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Officers responded to 320 Bluffview Drive in reference to a vehicle that was struck. After speaking with the vehicle owner, a report was generated.

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Stewart. While on the scene, a female wished to pursue charges on an assault that occurred earlier in the month. A report was generated.

On Friday, June 28, 2019, Officers responded to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive in reference to two males arguing. After speaking to one of the males, and witnesses, a male was taken into custody and transported to Brown County Jail for possession of marijuana.

On 6/28/2019, at approximately 1300 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Ave C for a call of suspicious person. Police made contact with complainant and an information report was made for interference with child custody.

On Friday, June 28, 2019 at approximately 1039 hours, an Officer and Animal Control Officer were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 1500 block of Waco regarding a loose animal call. Upon arrival, an investigation and two separate reports were competed.

On June 28th, 2019 at approximately 2200 hours, Officers responded to the 500 block of W Commerce in reference to a Disturbance. A report was generated for this incident.

On 6/28/2019 at 2000 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3300 Blk. of 1st St. in reference to an agency assist.  One man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG 1 < 1 G.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 0923 hours, an Officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding a child abuse call. An investigation and a report was completed.

On 6-29-19, at approximately 1857 hrs, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to 1200 Austin Ave in reference to a welfare check on a four year-old female who was found in the roadway. This call led to the arrest of Cassandra Sanders for Abandoning or Endangering a Child and Driving While Intoxicated. A report was generated.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, the Brownwood Police Department performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 600 block of West Commerce Street. During the traffic stop, a stolen firearm was recovered and a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered from one of the occupants in the vehicle.  At the conclusion of the traffic stop investigation, one man was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance, Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, theft of firearm, and unlawful carrying weapon.

On 6/30/2019, at approximately 1400 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Belmeade for a call for a welfare check. Police made a report of assault family violence.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 1426 Hrs, Officers were dispatched to BRMC ER for an Assault. Upon arrival, the officers met with the complainant who stated she was assaulted in Austin, Texas by some of her co-workers approximately five (5) days ago. This investigation led to a courtesy report being completed.

On 6/29/2019 at 1700 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2800 Blk. of Southside Dr. in reference to theft. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On Saturday June 29, 2019 at approximately 2000 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce St in reference to a theft of property report.   A man was arrested for Theft of Property >=$100<$750.

On 6/30/2019, at 1800 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1900 Blk. of Ave. E in reference to a domestic. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On 6-30-19, at approximately 2029 hrs, a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to 1100 block Ave Win reference to theft of a firearm. An active report was generated.

On Sunday, June 30, 2019 at approximately 2052 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 2300 block of Durham Ave in reference to a theft report. A report has been generated.
