New Brownwood Police Chief, Ed Kading, was sworn-in to office in a brief ceremony at 1:00 pm Monday, July 8, in the training room of the Law Enforcement Center.  Brownwood Mayor, Stephen Haynes, issued the Oath of Office.  Brown County Sheriff, Vance Hill, issued the Law Enforcement Oath of Honor. Chief Kading comes to Brownwood from the San Angelo Police Department where he spent 25 years.  Several members of the San Angelo Police Department attended the ceremony.
