Tuesday Meeting of Brownwood City Council

The Brownwood City Council will meet at 9:00 am Tuesday, October 22, at Brownwood City Hall, 501 Center Avenue.  The agenda is as follows:

6. Citizen Presentations
Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

9. Public Hearing
A. Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance on first reading changing the zoning classification of 10.35 acres out of the H H Hall Addition, Survey Number 49, Abstract 400, also known as 3100 Stephen F. Austin Drive, from C-1 Local Business and C-2 General Business to M-1 Restricted Industrial District.

10. Agreements and Contracts
A. Consider approving the Meet and Confer Agreement between the City of Brownwood and the Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association (BPFFA) for a one (1) year term – October 22, 2019 – September 30, 2020.
11. Consent Agenda
A. Consider an ordinance on second and third/final reading approving the FY 2018/2019 budget amendments.
12. Requests and Presentations
A. Consider ratification of the Brownwood Municipal Development District Board to purchase 3.22 acres of land on CC Woodson Road.
