Low Turnout So Far in Brown County Early Voting

KOXE News stopped by the Brown County Elections Office Monday morning to get an update on early voting.  The turnout has been low so far.  As of mid-morning Monday, a total of 436 early votes had been cast for the 10 Constitutional Amendments on the ballot in Texas.  According to Brown County Elections Administrator, Larry Franks, early voting will be held 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at the Brown County Election’s Office at 613 North Fisk, Suite 200.  You’ll see the “vote here” signs about one block north of the Brown County Courthouse.  On Thursday and Friday, October 31 and November 1, there will be extended hours for Early Voting at the same location, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
