A Wind Advisory will be in effect from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm today (Thursday) as a result of a strong weather system moving through the midwest United States.  A strong cold front will arrive in Brown County between 9:00  am and 11:00 am.  Behind the front, expect winds in excess of 30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph causing blowing dust this afternoon.  The strong wind should subside after sunset.

Temperatures will be affected today.  Expect highs in the middle 50’s early afternoon but falling into the 40’s by 6:00 pm.
