On January 13, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 48 positive COVID-19 test results, 26 negative,  and 36 recoveries. Of the 48 positives, 16 were PCR, and 32 were antigen. There are currently 25 hospitalized in Brown County.

Three deaths were reported: a male in his 70’s not a resident of a nursing facility, a female in her 80’s not a resident from a nursing facility, and a female in her 80’s from a nursing facility.

COVID-19 Vaccinations: 

Brown County currently shows 716 people vaccinated with 1^st doses , 21 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimate for vaccination.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 

Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 14^th-15^th in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
